The Eterna 12W LED Outdoor Wall Light - Eyelid with Microwave Movement Sensor offers great value and is suitable for numerous outdoor applications. Its stylish eyelid design cuts out upward glare, and its tough ABS construction and shatter-resistant polycarbonate diffuser ensure durability. The diffuser is optically enhanced to produce a smooth, uniform light. Carrying an IP66 rating, this fitting is dust-tight and rainproof. Installed with a microwave sensor, this Eterna LED fitting triggers light automatically when it detects movement. Unlike a PIR sensor, a microwave sensor can detect movement through an obstruction, which enables it to be concealed behind the diffuser for a neater design. This same capability allows it to function through doors and thin walls, making it useful in places such as driveways and stairwells. The detection range (maximum 12 metres at 150°) and duration of activated light are adjustable. There is also a lux adjustment, which lets you control how dark it needs to be before the light activates.

Boasting an 'A' rating for energy, the Eterna 12W LED Outdoor Wall Light - Eyelid with Microwave Movement Sensor uses an LED array to emit 640 lumens of cool white 4200K light in a 120° beam (720 lm total light). This is at least 80% more energy efficient than equivalent incandescent or halogen lighting. Peak luminous intensity is 450 cd and colour rendering is of a high standard.

In addition to its energy efficiency, the Eterna 12W LED Outdoor Wall Light - Eyelid with Microwave Movement Sensor boasts a long lifespan of 25,000 hours. It will give several years of service in most commercial environments, which might easily extend into decades with moderate home use. This fitting does not accept replacement bulbs.
