In our range of light fittings you’ll often encounter single security light fittings or utility lights with PIR movement sensors. But what if you could use the same type of sensor to trigger a whole series of lights? Well, you can: our PIR sensors usually give a maximum wattage load, so you can trigger multiple lights simultaneously (for Danlers sensors 1amp = 250W).
Some sensors can be used indoors or out, whilst others are meant specifically for interior lighting. You can set the timer on the sensor so that it switches on the light for the duration of your choosing.
Since we’ve stepped outside, we can also discuss the Photocell sensors in our range, which function in a similar way except they are triggered by a predefined level of ambient light as opposed to movement. You can hook a photocell up to your configuration of lights for ‘dusk to dawn’ nocturnal illumination. All of the exterior sensors have a suitably high Ingress protection rating, indicating robust weather protection.

Also among our products you might find items like a long-range directional PIR sensor - ideal for warehouse aisles and corridors, and dusk to dawn light bulb adapters that turn regular light fittings into light-sensitive ones.
Aside from the timers incorporated into PIR sensors, you might also find among our product range dedicated light timer switches, for areas likely to be in use for limited periods of time. Refuse areas might be one such example - so you can hit the switch and the light will turn off automatically after a predefined period of time. Again, these switches have a maximum load and can control multiple lights or fittings. Water heating switches are also usually among our stock, for 24 hour programming of a heated water supply.
