LED Pin Fitting Bulbs

LED pin fitting bulbs are designed as retrofitting replacements for pin-based CFLs. Originally these bulbs were intended as space-saving alternatives to the linear fluorescent tube, whilst still producing a powerful output of widespread light.

LED pin fitting bulbs tend to be manufactured from polycarbonate, making them significantly more durable than their fluorescent equivalents. Perhaps one of the biggest advantages of them is their output to lifetime ratio. Typically, they last around 25,000 hours, so with normal usage it will be years before they need to be replaced. Their minimal energy use (around 80% less than fluorescent lighting) means savings on bills over time, too. LED pin bulbs do not contain mercury or other hazardous materials so they are much easier to recycle at the end of their life.

Given their durability and long lifetimes, LED pin fitting bulbs are suitable for use in variety of commercial and domestic settings such as corridor lighting in offices and pendants or downlights in apartments.
