Astro Luga Wall Light - Round

The Luga Wall Light from Astro is stylishly designed with a circular white glass shade and attaches to the wall with a smart silver coloured backplate. This contemporary light fitting is ideal for a living room or office, and makes an especially good bedside reading light with its handy on/off toggle switch.

An excellent choice of supplementary lighting, the Luga Wall Light produces an attractive up-and-down light on the wall as well as soft outward illumination through its translucent shade. This IP20-rated fitting offers no resistance to water, so is suitable for dry indoor areas only.

Carrying an 'F' mark, the Luga can be mounted onto normally flammable surfaces. This encompasses any material with a minimum 200°C ignition point, including plasterboard, masonry and most types of wood. Easily flammable materials such as polystyrene or textiles are incompatible.

As a Class 1 fitting, the Luga Wall Light must be connected to electrical earth during installation.

Bulb requirements

The Luga Wall Light requires a 60W maximum golf ball bulb (sold separately) with an E14 Small Edison Screw (SES) cap.

Since incandescent bulbs have been mostly phased out by EU legislation, Lyco recommend an energy-saving halogen bulb as an economical alternative. This typically consumes 20-30% less energy than an original incandescent bulb.

An LED bulb can also be selected for this fitting, which offers vastly reduced energy consumption and a much longer lifespan. Initial investment in LED bulbs is invariably recovered through reduced running and re-lamping costs.
