Burco
Burco is a manufacturer of commercial catering equipment, with a history dating back to 1895. The founding company was W. H. Dean, which satisfied the need for gas equipment at the beginning of the 20th century, when it was first being used to heat water. By the 1950s, W.H. Dean had expanded into electrical products, and merged with Burnley Components to become Burco Dean.
In the 1970s, Burco ventured into a new sector and began manufacturing catering boilers. Its products became more sophisticated in the 1980s, with the addition of features such as thermostatic control and sight glasses. Acquired by the Glen Dimplex Group in 1985 and then forming part of Morphy Richards, Burco went on to develop the popular Cygnet brand.
Now under the portfolio of Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances, Burco continues to develop and deliver products of outstanding quality to the catering industry. Choose the Burco name for uncompromising performance and reliability, whether for a canteen kitchen or hospitality business.
