Norlys Turin Pendant Porch Lantern - Black

The Turin Pendant Porch Lantern comes from outdoor lighting experts, Norlys. This traditionally styled fitting is made from die-cast aluminium in the manufacturer's own foundry, and subjected to a 9-stage pre-painting surface treatment for exceptional resistance to corrosion.

The window panes of the Turin Pendant Porch Lantern are made from clear shatter-resistant polycarbonate. With an IP44 rating, this robust outdoor fitting protects against rain or ingress of solid objects beyond 1mm in width.

Bulb requirements

The Turin Pendant Porch Lantern accommodates a 100W maximum GLS bulb (sold separately) with an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap.

As incandescent bulbs have been largely phased out in recent years by EU legislation, Lyco recommend an energy-saving halogen bulb as an economical alternative. This typically uses 20-30% fewer watts than an original incandescent bulb and lasts twice as long.

A decorative filament bulb can be used with this fitting, which is made with an attractive patterned filament and produces a particularly warm, welcoming light.

LED bulbs are not recommended here, as the majority of them have a less complementary appearance than filament lamps.
