Product Description
The Turin Half Lantern from Norlys has an IP44 rating to indicate strong protection against rain. This traditionally designed, black powder-coated fitting is ideal for positioning at porches, patios and entrances. It makes a fantastic choice for homes, hotels and restaurants.
Robustly constructed from aluminium in the manufacturer's own die casting foundry, this charming luminaire undergoes 9 pre-painting surface treatments to ensure rust protection. With its clear polycarbonate diffuser, the Turin is shatter-resistant and not easily vandalised.

Class II double insulated
The Turin Half Lantern is a Class 2 double-insulated fitting that does not require connection to electrical earth. This extends its suitability to properties without an earthed lighting circuit.

Bulb requirements
This fitting requires a 60W maximum GLS bulb (sold separately) with an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap.
Since incandescent bulbs have been phased out in recent years by EU legislation, Lyco recommend an energy-saving halogen bulb as an economical alternative. This saves around 20-30% in running costs, in addition to offering twice the typical lifespan.
A decorative-filament bulb is another option for the Turin range. This normally has a patterned or stranded filament for extra aesthetic appeal, and in some cases produces a light of above average warmth (e.g. 2000K).
LED bulbs are generally not advised for this fitting, as their appearance does not usually complement traditional or decorative designs.
