Norlys Turin Outdoor Hanging Lantern Wall Light - Black

The Turin Wall Hanging Lantern adds charm to the exterior of any traditional home with its bygone design. Superbly manufactured in die-cast aluminium by Norlys, this outdoor fitting is exceptionally resistant to corrosion. Clear polycarbonate window panes make it difficult to break, too, whether by accident or vandalisation.

An IP44 rating in the Turin Wall Hanging Lantern indicates protection against rain or ingress of solid objects above 1mm width.

Class II double insulated

As a Class 2 double-insulated fitting, the Turin Wall Hanging Lantern does not require connection to earth. This extends its suitability to properties without an earthed lighting circuit.

Bulb requirements

The Turin Wall Hanging Lantern takes a 100W maximum GLS bulb (sold separately) with an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap.

As incandescent bulbs have been largely phased out in recent years by EU legislation, Lyco recommend an energy-saving halogen bulb as an economical alternative. This uses 20-30% fewer watts than an original incandescent bulb and lasts twice as long.

A decorative filament bulb can be used with this fitting, which is made with an attractive patterned filament and often produces a particularly warm, welcoming light.

LED bulbs are not recommended for use with this fitting, as the majority of them do not have a complementary appearance.
