Searchlight

First established in 1945, Searchlight lighting (Searchlight Electric) is a family owned business based in Manchester. Now into its third generation, the company employs in excess of 130 people.

Searchlight sells over 1,900 incandescent, halogen and fluorescent designs to independent and recognised high street store groups in the decorative, hotel, contract and residential UK lighting markets.

Through a joint venture with a Chinese manufacturer, Searchlight produces its own products in a state-of-the-art factory in China, enabling the business to remain competitive and reliable.

The company is the largest UK importer and wholesaler of decorative lighting with a product range boasting modern light fitments, crystal chandeliers, flush fittings, wall, floor and table lights, spot lights, garden and outdoor lighting and novelty fittings.
