Product Description
The BG Nexus Storm 1-Gang 13 Amp Switched Socket offers IP66-rated protection against dust, rain and powerful jets of water. It is protected thoroughly against the elements with an ergonomically designed see-though cover, which can be fixed in an open hinged position during use if required.
The Nexus Storm Socket has an on/off switch and power indicator. It is a double-pole socket, which means it isolates both live and neutral supplies when switched off, for added safety. Manufactured in accordance with British Standard 1363-2 requirements, this BG socket includes colour-coded terminals and backed out captive screws for easy installation.
Two earth terminals are included in the BG Nexus Storm 13A Switched Socket, with another housed in the mounting box. The supplied multiple knock-out mounting box includes blanking caps for all five cable entries. Covers are also included to seal the fixing screws.
