Elstead Glenbeigh Outdoor Wall Light

The Glenbeigh Wall Lantern can be installed as either an uplight or downlight. Thanks to its tough polymer body and opal polycarbonate diffuser, it protects against vandalism or corrosion. It is shatter-resistant and rust-proof and also UV stabilised to protect against degradation by light. An IP44 rating signifies protection against rain and ingress of solid objects above 1mm width.

Unlike most metals, the materials used in the Glenbeigh Wall Lantern make it suitable for coastal use. Airborne salt does not affect this tough luminaire. A selection of other fittings in the same range enables easy creation of a co-ordinated lighting scheme. Use of Clic-Clac technology makes this product easy to assemble and install, too.

Stylishly designed, the Glenbeigh Wall Lantern is made to extremely high standards in Italy. It forms part of Elstead's 'Coastal Collection', designed for durable performance in the most challenging of conditions.

Class II double insulated

The Glenbeigh Wall Lantern is a Class 2 double-insulated fitting that does not require connection to earth during installation. This extends its suitability to properties without an earthed lighting circuit.

Guarantee

This product comes with a 20-year manufacturer's guarantee against degradation by rust, UV light, and city pollution.

Bulb requirements

This fitting requires a 100W maximum GLS bulb (sold separately) with an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap.

Since incandescent bulbs have been mostly phased out by EU legislation, Lyco recommend an energy-saving halogen candle for this fitting. This uses 20-30% less energy than an original incandescent bulb.

An LED GLS bulb can also be selected for this fitting. The higher initial investment is always likely to be repaid through an 80-90% reduction in energy costs against filament bulbs, and a lifespan that is 10-50 times greater.
