Elstead Glenbeigh Porch / Pedestal Light

The Glenbeigh Porch/Pedestal Lantern, with a polymer body and polycarbonate diffuser, is constructed to be robust. As part of Elstead's 'Coastal Collection', this stylish luminaire can be used near the sea. An IP44 rating signifies its resistance to rain. The spherical polycarbonate diffuser is shatterproof, and therefore resistant to vandalism.

Aside from impressive durability, the Italian-made Glenbeigh Porch/Pedestal Lantern is also stylish. It is ideal for positioning on steps, path entrances, patios, porches and walls. Other items in the same range are available from Lyco, for easy co-ordination.

Using simple twist-and-lock 'Clic-Clac' technology, the Glenbeigh Porch/Pedestal Lantern is easy to assemble and install. It can be used as an outdoor pedestal light or installed 'upside-down' as a porch fitting.

Bulb requirements

The Glenbeigh Porch/Pedestal Lantern requires a maximum 100W GLS bulb (sold separately) with an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap.

Since incandescent bulbs have been mostly phased out by EU legislation in recent years, Lyco recommend an energy-saving halogen equivalent. This will typically consume 20-30% fewer watts than an original GLS bulb and last twice as long.

An LED GLS bulb can also be selected for this fitting. The higher initial outlay is always likely to be repaid through an 80-90% reduction in energy costs against filament bulbs, and a lifespan that is 10-50 times greater.
