Searchlight Arosa Wall Light with LED Reading Light - Antique Brass

The Searchlight Arosa Reading Light features a conventional shaded wall light for soft background illumination, and adds an LED reading light in the same fitting, with a flexible and fully adjustable arm. The two lights are individually switched, so you can conveniently turn them off without having to trek to a mains switch.

Beautifully manufactured with antique brass fixings and a rectangular white fabric shade, the classic design of this fitting is sure to harmonise with many styles of décor. Designed primarily as a bedside light, the Arosa combines the best of old and new technologies to great effect. This is a superb choice of light for hotels or the home.

Bulb requirements

The Searchlight Arosa Reading Light takes a maximum 60W GLS bulb (sold separately) with an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap.

Since incandescent bulbs have been mostly phased out by EU legislation, Lyco recommend an energy-saving halogen bulb as an inexpensive alternative. This will typically save 20-30% in energy over the old technology and has twice the lifespan.

A low-energy fluorescent lamp (maximum 11W) or LED GLS bulb can also be selected for the Arosa. These choices will save around 70-90% in energy over filament bulbs, as well as offering vastly longer lifespans.

The reading light in this fitting is fitted with a 1W LED, and does not accommodate or require any replacement bulb. Such is the longevity of LED lighting that dedicated fittings provide many years of maintenance-free service.
