A LED driver is responsible for transforming the alternating current from the mains into direct current suitable to make the LED chips shine. To find out if a driver is going to work with our luminaire, PCB or panel we should consult the voltage and output current of the driver.

This driver has a multi-voltage input. This means that it is able to withstand surges and dips in line voltage for a short period of time without being damaged. In addition, its output is also multi-voltage which means that it can deliver a constant voltage within a range allowing the same driver to be used for a variety of applications with different current and voltage requirements. Once the driver is powered, the voltage is automatically adjusted and the output voltage is constant. The TRIAC dimmable driver must be used in conjunction with a TRIAC LED dimmer, which allows the desired light intensity to be easily selected. Its power factor is very high, making it a very efficient driver.
