This PIR sensor has a 120º coverage angle and it has a 7-10 metre detection field, approximately, at a height of 1.8~2.5m. This Square 18W LED Surface Panel with a PIR Motion Sensor 225x225 mm is capable of capturing invisible infrared emissions that come from a heat source, without emitting any type of radiation.
The detector is activated once a heat source moves in front of the switch and deactivates once the motion is no longer captured, after an adjustable time.
