The Motorola 2-Way Radio twin-pack with docking station is a reliable walkie-talkie system that can be easily expanded with other handsets as required, and can be used to extend existing Motorola PMR446 standard radio fleets. This system enables you to benefit from two-way radio communications license-free, and without any airtime charges.
Allowing communications at a maximum range of 8km (5 miles), the 500mW Motorola 2-Way Radio twin-pack is exempt from the licensing costs levied against more powerful walkie-talkies. The PMR446 standard (0.5W maximum) for license-free radios is applicable across the European Union, so handsets can be legitimately used in other EU countries without issue.
Straightforward to use with fuss-free 'press to talk' (PTT) operation, each of the Motorola 2-Way Radio handsets is lightweight, comfortable, and durably manufactured. An automatic LCD backlight comes on when you press any button (except PTT) and switches off after 10 seconds of inactivity.
