These tough, polycarbonate engineered LED battens have been designed to provide at least 3 hours of battery back-up and will spring in to action in the event of an emergency to provide illumination when mains lighting has failed. They feature an energy saving 38W cool white lamp which is the equivalent in terms of power, to a 58W fluorescent tube but as they use LED, will have minimal consumption, in contrast. A green LED will glow to indicate standby mode and each light features a 35,000 hour life span.
