Robus Fire Rated Adjustable Downlight - White

The Robus Directional Downlight is stylish in its white finish, and designed to blend seamlessly with many ceilings. The recessed head can be tilted at an angle of up to 20°, allowing accurate aiming of light according to your needs. Even better, this fitting is fire-rated at 90 minutes for easy compliance with Part B Fire Safety requirements (England and Wales). This saves you from having to install an intumescent fire hood over each fitting, which is usually necessary beneath any occupied floor.

Offering superb value for money, this IP20-rated fitting is intended solely for dry indoor areas. Install it in a modern hallway, kitchen or office. Since it does not protect against ingress of water, it is unsuitable for bathroom use. The Robus Directional Downlight is supplied complete with a bracket, terminal block and lamp-holder.

As an 'F' marked fitting, the Robus Directional Downlight can be mounted onto a 'normally flammable' surface. This includes most regular building materials, such as plasterboard, masonry or wood. Easily flammable materials are incompatible.

Bulb requirements

The Robus Directional Downlight accommodates a 50W maximum GU10 halogen lamp (sold separately).

An LED GU10 can also be selected for this fitting, which is naturally absent of any significant IR heat or UV radiation in its beam. An LED retrofit lamp reduces energy consumption over a halogen bulb by 80-90%, and lasts much longer. A return on initial investment is assured.
