BG Electrical (British General) has over 60 years experience as a manufacturer and distributor of electrical accessories. It prides itself on the quality, safety and performance of its products and it has an excellent reputation for customer service and support.

The company is constantly improving and developing its range, which now includes downlighters, TV & Satellite equipment, site equipment and a range of anti-microbial accessories which are marketed under the Hygiea name.

In November 1999 BG Electrical merged with Masterplug and Permaplug and became one of Britain's largest suppliers of portable power products. We are particularly impressed that BG remains one of the few manufacturers to carry the prestigious BSI kitemark on many of its products - a real indicator of quality and safety.
