Searchlight Anzere Wall Light with LED Reading Light - Polished Chrome

The Anzere Reading Light is a dual-purpose fitting that functions as a regular single-bracket wall light, whilst also being equipped with a dedicated LED reading light. The main light is stylishly designed with polished chrome fixings and a cream fabric shade. The flexible arm of the second LED light lets you aim its beam precisely where needed.

Intended primarily as a bedside light, the Anzere Reading Light will blend easily with most styles of eclectic or contemporary décor. The two light sources can be used simultaneously if required, with the shaded light providing an attractive diffuse background light whilst the LED focuses on the page.

An independent on/off switch is provided for each light, which avoids the hassle of having to haul yourself over to the mains switch whenever you want to sleep directly after reading. It also potentially saves money, with the LED half of the light consuming negligible energy.

Bulb requirements

The Anzere Reading Light requires a 60W GLS bulb (sold separately) with an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap.

Since incandescent bulbs have been banned from production by EU legislation, Lyco recommend an energy-saving halogen bulb as an economical alternative. This will typically save 20-30% in energy and has twice the lifespan of original incandescent bulbs.

For vast savings in running and maintenance costs, an equivalent low-energy fluorescent or LED GLS lamp can also be used. These will save around 70-90% in energy and last up to 50 times longer than an incandescent bulb in the case of LED.

The LED reading light included in this fitting is pre-installed with a 1W LED, and does not accommodate any replacement bulb. An LED subjected to short spells of use might easily last into decades, so this half of the Anzere literally requires zero maintenance.
