Tridonic 2 x 18W Ballast - Twin

The non-dimmable Tridonic 2 x 18W T8 Ballast is an electronic high-frequency ballast, designed to run a pair of 18W T8 fluorescent tubes. The ballast has an average-rated lifespan of 50,000 hours, and is intended to replace an expired or inefficient ballast. It avoids any need to replace a complete fitting.

With its Intelligent Voltage Guard feature, the Tridonic 2 x 18W T8 Ballast automatically protects against overvoltage or undervoltage. It will also shut down defective or end-of-life lamps, preventing possible damage to the ballast and lampholders. The ballast restarts automatically after a lamp change.

An electronic HF ballast offers numerous advantages over a standard magnetic ballast, including an immediate start (less than 1.5 seconds in this case), no flickering or humming during operation, increased energy efficiency, and up to 50% greater lamp lifespan.
