Used in a wide variety of task, display, or decorative lighting applications, this small 12V LED bulb is compatible with most existing halogen transformers. In addition to superior energy efficiency and longevity, it offers several other advantages over halogen; these include lack of IR heat, easier handling (a halogen capsule shouldn't be directly touched), reliability in cold temperatures, and resistance to shock and vibration.
