The ESP IRCAM700 Day/Night Camera is an IP66-rated camera with a dust-tight and jet-waterproof construction, and is suitable for use with any ESP CCTV system. An infrared mode allows recording even in complete darkness, whilst a varifocal lens and 360° rotation provides lots of choice as to where the camera is positioned.
The 2.8 to 22mm varifocal lens on this camera allows precise adjustment to suit your needs. You can choose any setting from the wide-angle 2.8mm to a telephoto 22mm, or anything in-between. Once this is set, the lens is then focused and used normally as if it were fixed. The great advantage is the extra flexibility it gives you in positioning the camera. You can ensure maximum detail in key areas by training the lens on a narrower, close-up view.
At the heart of the ESP IRCAM700 Day/Night Camera is a 1/3” Sony Super HAD CCD sensor, with a high analogue 560TVL resolution. It has a digital recording resolution of 752(H) x 582(V) effective pixels.
Another top feature in this camera is its infrared capability. With built-in IR-LEDs, the camera radiates IR waves, which are then reflected and allow images to be received at a maximum range of 50 metres. The result is a camera that can see in the dark!
Please be aware that IR images are monochromatic, whereas regular image capture is in full colour. The minimum required light level in non-IR mode is 0 .01 lux, which is akin to the light of a clear quarter-moon night. Any artificial light you have in place will obviously meet this requirement and help maximise image quality.
Other features in the ESP IRCAM700 Day/Night Camera include auto gain control to help ensure a bright picture, back-light compensation, and auto white balance for natural colour reproduction under most types of light.
A connection cable is required for installation, which is available separately from Lyco.
