The Dahlia 12-Light Chandelier is a beautiful, British-made luminaire from master Cotswolds designers, David Hunt Lighting. The centre of the fitting and each lamp-base are crafted from an ivory-coloured resin, enclosed by a golden dahlia, and accompanied by solid brass arms and cream fabric shades.
Height adjustable at the point of installation, this ornate, hand-crafted creation comes complete with a 500mm braided cream cable and a brass ceiling plate. A choice of other fittings in the range is available from Lyco, for a co-ordinated lighting scheme.
The Dahlia 12-Light Chandelier is ‘F’ certified, making it suitable for mounting directly onto a normally flammable surface. This includes most normal building surfaces with a minimum 200°C ignition point, but excludes easily flammable materials such as polystyrene or textiles.
Class II double insulated
This is a double-insulated Safety Class II fitting requiring no connection to electrical earth, which extends its suitability to any property without an earthed lighting circuit.
The Dahlia 12-Light Chandelier requires 12 x 40W maximum candle bulbs (sold separately) with E14 Small Edison Screw (SES) caps.
Since incandescent bulbs have largely been phased out in recent years, Lyco recommend energy-saving halogen bulbs as an economical and easily obtainable alternative. These typically offer 20-30% savings in running costs over original bulbs, and have twice the lifespan.
Despite a greater upfront investment, an LED candle bulb easily pays for itself with an 80-90% reduction in running costs over any filament bulb, and a vastly longer lifespan.
The dimensions of the Dahlia 12-Light Chandelier are:
- Height: 500-1250mm
- Diameter: 900mm
