A Quality Service
Lyco recognise that our carriers are part of the service we offer you. We only work with the most professional carriers with the latest vehicles and tracking facilities to ensure they deliver the service you have come to expect from us.
Tracking Your Order
From the moment your order leaves us, until it is delivered at your door it can be tracked. If you provide us with your email address at the point of ordering, you will be able to track your own order. In the unlikely event your order does not arrive on time we are able to identify the reason. In addition we can easily provide proof of delivery where required, giving you the name of whoever signed for it.
Our carriers make regular collections from our Warehouse. Once each lorry is filled it is driven away and your order is on its way to you. Your order will pass through various transfer 'hubs' during the night and will arrive at the local depot nearest to you in the early hours of the following morning (Zone 1).
All the deliveries for your area are then scheduled for the day's delivery 'run'. The depot will ensure these deliveries are made as quickly as possible. They will have to take into account known road closures, diversions and other factors which might slow down the van on its journey.
The driver is also in radio contact with the depot so they are aware of their progress. Our carrier expects to deliver your order before the end of the day (Zone 1). Most orders will arrive by mid-afternoon, less than one working day after you place your order.
