Metal Halide lights offer high efficiency, strong, pure white light output and excellent life cycle economy. They are compact sources with an ability to direct and focus light not available from more diffused high efficiently light output options such as fluorescents. Metal Halide remains the preferred technology for many commercial and industrial applications and for some, such as sports lighting, is the only practical option.
