These 50mm MR16 GU5.3 low voltage halogen spotlights by Philips are available in a wide variety of wattages and beam angles to suit most applications.

By far the most popular choice for low voltage lighting, 50mm halogen lamps are very versatile, and are commonly used for highlighting key areas in the home, making the most out of architectural features, bookcases, pictures and wall hangings. They are also the smart choice for shop, offices, display areas, receptions and public areas of commercial premises.

Wattage

Our 50mm low voltage halogen lamps are stocked in 20w, 35w and 50w versions.

Beam angles

The narrowest is the Spot at 10°, then Medium 24°, Flood 36° to Wide Flood at 60°. Lamp life is an average of 3,000 hours. Check the beam before you buy. Look on the original specification by the architect or lighting designer, or look on the side of the lamp to be replaced where the information is printed.
