Heat dissipation
The GU10 is designed to reflect heat through the glass at the front, keeping the fitting cool – meaning a great choice for fire rated down lights and small voids, whereas the GZ10 is designed for fittings that have rear ventilation, so the heat does not dissipate through the glass. Be sure to replace like with like.
Two diameters
These mains voltage halogen lamps are available in a choice of two diameters – PAR16 (50mm) or PAR20 (64mm). There are three different wattages to choose from – 35 watts, 50 watts or 75 watts. Lamp life is an impressive average of 2,500 hours.
