Robus have made this GU10 Cold Cathode lamp as a direct replacement for conventional GU10 halogen lamps. The amazing thing about these lamps is that they produce virtually no heat output whatsoever.
Direct replacement
Using the popular ‘twist and lock’ fitting, you can simply replace your existing halogen lamps with these. Their 7 watt output is the equivalent of 35 watts of regular halogen light.
No heat output
Given their nil heat output it’s little surprise they carry the highest energy efficiency rating of A. What’s more, lamp life is double that of regular halogen GU10 lamps, so you save money all round, as well as reducing your CO2 emissions to help combat climate change.
Please note: These lamps are not suitable for dimming or for use with dusk to dawn sensors or timer switches.
