There have been enormous advances in this type of technology since the start of the 21st Century, and they now offer a genuine alternative to conventional light sources with huge environmental advantages.
Colour changing bulbs - We stock two types of LED light bulb that change colour automatically, travelling through a spectrum of colours to produce a spectacular lighting effect that is great for display, decoration, festoon, party, bar or disco lighting. We also have one-colour LED golf balls and GU10 spotlight lamps in red, green, blue, yellow/orange and white. We also sell LED colour changing Squares, Triangles and Linkable tubes for fantastic chill-out ambience.
Single and multi-chip - Some of the lamps feature multiple LED 'chips' to increase the light output, but some have a single powerful 'chip', and there is even a candle replacement to suit a more traditional look.
We also have low voltage 35mm and 50mm replacements that operate with their own special convertor.
Low power consumption - The beauty of these energy saving LED light bulbs is their extremely low energy consumption, at just 1 or 2 watts, and their extremely long lamp life - anything up to 50,000 hours! Not only that, but their heat output is virtually zero, and some are vibration proof as well.
Environmentally-friendly lighting - The long life of LED lighting means that it is replaced less often, which helps reduce landfill. The nil heat output helps to lessen global CO2 emissions and help combat climate change.
