Wireless

CCTV is an excellent way to keep an eye on both the inside and the outside of a property. It has been proven that casual intruders are deterred by the sight of a camera that can track their movements and possibly record the evidence.

No Installation

Wireless systems have the advantage that they can be sited anywhere on the premises. There is no restriction caused by needing to run a cable to the site, or where it would be highly impractical. It also saves time, money and hassle by doing away with the need for installation by a qualified electrician. Batteries are required, however, and there is the ongoing cost of replacement.

Night Time Vision

Various styles of wireless camera are available, and some include night time vision. They use two main types of technology, infra-red and LED (Light Emitting Diode). Infra-red has been used for many years, whereas LED is a more recent innovation and gives a sharper image.

Wire-less cameras are available for indoor and outdoor use. An IP rating of 44 or above guarantees they are weatherproof.

Colour & Mono

Like wired CCTV systems, kits and cameras are available in both colour and black and white versions. Some systems are designed to run several cameras from one monitor, and these are usually purchased separately so that you can buy just what you require for your security needs.
