- Many models have an oscillating function that spreads the cool air over a wider area. Some versions allow you to turn the oscillating function on and off, so you can simply direct the cold air to just one place, if you prefer.
- Timer functions on some fans allow you to program your fan to operate for a fixed period of time and then turn off automatically. Ideal if you need to leave your desk and want to keep it cool for when you return.
Easy to position and set up
