The blanket is made of a fire resistant material that cuts off oxygen to a fire when placed over it, smothering the flames. Fire blankets are especially suited to small kitchen fires caused by deep fat or grease frying, but can also be used in offices and other light industrial and commercial premises. The blanket can also be used to smother flames on clothing.
Wall mounted fire blanket
The fire blanket is supplied in a red PVC wallet which is designed to be mounted to walls. In case of emergency, it is easy to release the blanket by simply pulling on the tabs.
