This British firm, based in Peterborough manufactures high quality water heating, showers and washroom equipment. It is particularly focused on creating user-friendly products, and it was granted a commendation by the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) in recognition of excellent design for the visually impaired.
The Redring Range includes water heaters, shower systems, hand wash units, hand and face dryers and heaters such as fan heaters, tubular heaters, infra-red heaters and high level fan heaters.
Redring is facing up to the challenges to be faced in the future when oil and gas begin to run, and is committed to developing cleaner, renewable sources of energy. It recently launched Redring Sunstore, a solar system which can provide 60-70% of domestic hot water requirements and dramatically reduce energy bills. It can be integrated with all types of heating systems including combi boilers, lasts for 25 years or more and needs no scheduled maintence. Each installation reduces CO2 emissions by at least 500kg a year, a positive step in the challenge to combat climate change.
