These 50mm MR16 GU5.3 low voltage halogen spotlights by GE Lighting are available in a wide variety of wattages and beam angles to suit most applications. You won’t need to change these lamps as often, as they have over double the lamp life of regular low voltage halogen lamps, meaning you save time.

By far the most popular choice for low voltage lighting, 50mm halogen lamps are very versatile, and are commonly used for highlighting key areas in the home, making the most out of architectural features, bookcases, pictures and wall hangings. They are also the smart choice for shop, offices, display areas, receptions and public areas of commercial premises.

Wattage

Our 50mm low voltage halogen lamps are stocked in 20w, 35w and 50w versions.

Beam angles

The narrowest is the Spot at 14°, then Medium 25°, Flood 40° to Wide Flood at 55°. Lamp life is an amazing average of 5,000 hours. Before buying make sure you’re getting the right beam angle. Look it up on original specification by the architect or lighting designer, or take out the lamp to be replaced. The information is usually printed on the side.
