Fluoresave

In a world where climate change is an ever present challenge, Fluoresave is making a tangible difference. It is an easy to install unit, which reduces the energy consumed by fluorescent lights. Savings of up between 22-52% have been achieved by users, with no diminution of light levels.

The unit contains a microprocessor which constantly monitors variations in the output of the current and the input mains voltage. When the lights are turned on, the Fluoresave unit supplies mains voltage to the lights for ignition. After a short time period, Fluoresave switches to a lower energy saving voltage.

Several lights can be operated from one unit. It is suitable for all standard magnetic ballast fluorescent, as well as other types of discharge lighting such sodium, mercury and metal halide.

Fluoresave has been enthusiastically taken up by commercial lighting users, including local authorities and city councils, hospitals, the Ministry of Defence, Royal Mail, retailers, shipping companies, service industries and manufacturers. It has been fitted into Leisure Centres, Multi-Storey car parks, factories, postal sorting halls, shop floors, showrooms, offices, factory plants and warehouses.

It is popular because it is simple to retro-fit, taking less than a day and requiring no disruption to workers or modifactions to the light fittings. Large organisations report savings of thousands of pounds on their electricity bills, with a payback period of two years or less.

Fluoresave Limited is part of the Beijing Capital Group. With net assets of US$1.3 billion it is one of the largest conglomerates in the Chinese capital worth. Fluoresave energy saving products have been supplied throughout Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa for many years, but only came to the UK in 2002 when Fluoresave Limited was established to market and distribute the unit and establish distribution across Europe.
